Toriguri, sometimes shortened to TG, (TG(トリグリ)) is a Japanese Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Banjo & Kazooie player who is considered the best Banjo & Kazooie player of all-time, ranking 54th on the LumiRank 2023. Initially known as a successful player in Japan's online scene, he broke out onto the offline scene with his 9th-place finish at the Golden Week major Maesuma TOP 12 defeating MuteAce, Ron, and Umeki. His results improved throughout 2023, first defeating Zomba at Umebura SP 10 and eventually becoming the first and only Banjo & Kazooie player to place top 8 at a major after placing 7th at Maesuma TOP 14, and he later had greater recognition internationally thanks to his run to 5th at Battle of BC 6, where he dominantly 3-0d MkLeo, and his win over Sparg0 at Kagaribi 12. These performances led many to consider Toriguri one of the best "mid-tier heroes" in Ultimate, and his success improved Banjo & Kazooie's reputation.
