From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
Hey dudes. Toomai here. I'm a Canadian smasher and general Nintendo fan. I enjoy most Nintendo games and am very good at most of them. I don't personally know anyone who's better than me (or even just as good).
Since I've has never played Smash Bros. with anyone near my skill level, I have no idea how good I really am. However, as a point of comparision, here is a list of other video-game things I've accomplished:
- I've beaten Events 50 and 51 in SSBM with every character.
- I've collected all trophies in SSBM (that can be obtained without hacking).
- I've cleared the Subspace Emissary 100% on Hard without stickers.
- I've cleared the Subspace Emissary on Intense.
- I've earned all 120/150 Stars in SM64/SM64DS twice (each).
- I've a 73% victory rate in MKDS online without snaking.
- I'm a triple star in MKDS.
- I've a Vs Rating of over 7500 in MK Wii, with a Battle Rating of around 6500. I'm also a single star.
- I can beat Banjo-Kazooie 100% in under 5 and a half hours without dying (without a strategy).
- I can beat Banjo-Tooie 100% without a Turbo controller.
- I own The Legend Of Zelda: Collector's Edition and has beaten three of the four full games it contains.
- I've beaten the Elite 4 in Pokemon Pearl with a team of around level 47.
And now for a second list, this one of other video-game facts.
- I own an N64, a Gamecube, a DS (original), and a Wii. There are three other DS's in the house (two original, one Lite).
- Bit of history: The first video game I ever played was Super Mario Kart at a cousin's house - it didn't go over so well. (I think we only played the Special Cup, that explains a bit.) Years later (in 1998), I played Diddy Kong Racing at the local Wal-Mart. Then the kiosk got switched to Banjo-Kazooie. That Christmas I got an N64 along with both games and Mario Kart 64. Started leaning towards Yoshi as a favorite character, got Yoshi's Story. (Probably has the most dust on the shelf.) Banjo-Tooie followed in 2000, as well as the trio of Mario Parties later. This part is a bit fuzzy...I think Smash Bros. (64) appeared for Christmas 2002. Had no idea who any of the non-Mario characters were (although Pikachu definately seemed familiar), but didn't really care. Got a Gamecube the next year with MKDD and TLoZ Collector's Edition - had no idea about Zelda games at the time, so it was a bit odd to play. Got Mario Parties 4 and 5, but got bored with the series and stopped there. About now I was trying to get all the trophies in SSBM. Got a DS the year it came out with SM64DS. Got Meteos a few months later, although The Wind Waker may have come first...drat, was hoping I could remember the whole order. Anyway, around this time I started using the Internet to look up stuff on games. Got wind that Rare was sold to Microsoft, was very bummed. Got MKSC and MKDS at some point. Sisters also had DS's at this point - Aranel (it's an Internet name, not her real name) has a Final Fantasy game, Phantom Hourglass, and Pokemon Diamond (plus some budget games), while Kid-Bob (usually followed by multiple ??!?!!?'s...yes, she's crazy) now has Canvas Curse, Squeak Squad, and Super Star Ultra. (Oh, and we all have MKDS, so that's fun.) Hmm, got off track. Anyway, got Yoshi's Island (GBA) and YIDS, as well as the two Lego Star Wars for Cube - they're epic fun, stop laughing. Got Mario Tennis (64), Power Tennis, Superstar Baseball, and both Paper Marios at some point. Wii has its E306 conference; fail at getting one in 2007. Once one was finally found, got Twilight Princess, followed by Mario Strikers Charged, SPM, SMG, and finally SSBB (followed by MKWii some time later). Oh, and Pokemon Pearl at some point. (I believe I said, "If you feel compelled to get me a DS game for Christmas, you can always get me Pokemon Pearl.") Also have SMB, SMW, A Link To The Past, and Kirby 64 on the Virtual Console. I also got de Blob - epic fun plus epic music is epic. The most recent game I've picked up is Pikmin (now I just have to find Pikmin 2 somewhere).
- So, in case the Wall of Text above is too daunting, I own games of these series:
- Mushroom Universe (including Jungle, Garlic, and Eggic Subuniverses)
- Jiggy Universe
- Triforcic Universe
- Dreamstar Universe (well, I don't own them, but they're in the house)
- Pokemon Universe
- Pikmipluck Universe
- Others, such as Lego Star Wars and de Blob (eh, just for fun - Forceful Universe and Chromoblast Universe)
