On August 15, 2007, Masahiro Sakurai, revealed stickers on Smash Bros. DOJO!!; new collectible items that will be included in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.[1] The inclusion of stickers sparked debates everywhere that discussed the possibility of stickers replacing the famous Trophies, but they have not.
Where to find stickers
As confirmed by Masahiro Sakurai, stickers are found randomly in the The Subspace Emissary as well as in Versus Mode. Stickers can also be earned through completing challenges in Challenge Mode or through using Spectator mode.
Sticker uses
There are two modes that involve stickers: the Sticker Album and Sticker Center. In the Sticker Center, stickers can be added to a background and made into a collage or even a single frame comic using different backgrounds. After making a college you can save it onto your Wii, allowing them to be mailed to friends. You can look at all the stickers you've collected in the Sticker Album. It is also possible for players to obtain multiple stickers of the same thing.
Confirmed on January 18, 2008, stickers can be used to power up your character when you participate in The Subspace Emissary.[2] You place the stickers on the bottom of your character's Trophy stand, which in turn give the character the attribute that it says on a small bar below the page.
Certain stickers can only be used on certain characters. The characters that can use the certain stickers' heads appear at the bottom beside the description. This fact led to the leak of Lucario, Ness, and Jigglypuff as playable characters.
