Republic of Fighters 3 was a Super Smash Bros. Melee national tournament held in Noisy-le-Grand, France by Slhoka, and the second-largest European tournament of all time with 198 entrants, behind Epita Smash Arena 2's 231 entrants. It was a qualifier for the Melee event at MLG Anaheim 2014. It also featured special guest aMSa from Japan, who managed to raise enough funds through Smash World Forums to attend, being the first time a Japanese player attended a major European tournament since Epita Smash Arena 2 in 2008.
