Multiple votes[edit]

The reason I have removed that vote is because your IP has already voted once on that arena match. Understand that if we let every IP that claimed multiple people use that IP address have multiple votes one could easily game the system. If you really are sharing that IP with someone then unfortunately you two shall have to agree between yourselves which to vote on. Alex the Jigglypuff trainer 12:34, 8 June 2018 (EDT)

I see. I don't know why we have the same IP as this is the only one I use. I thought someone was either just being an online jerk, or you thought I was sockpuppeting, which I am not. I don't know who the other person is, but I don't actually have a SmashWiki account, wich might be part of the problem. I shall attempt to resolve this issue. Thank you for explaining this to me. 72.133.91.93 12:36, 12 June 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105

Create account?[edit]

You seem like somebody who has good intentions and wants to contribute to the wiki. Have you considered creating an account so that you don't have to have your IP address shown all the time, and so that you don't manually have to add a name after your signature? VoqéoT 09:40, 31 July 2018 (EDT)

I've considered it, and I've considered I currently don't want to give NIWA my information, despite trusting them quite a bit. 72.133.91.93 09:43, 31 July 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105
Oh, don't worry about that. Unlike Wikia we don't require any information other than your selected username, things like Email are completely optional. Alex the Jigglypuff trainer 09:46, 31 July 2018 (EDT)
Part of the reason I've not made one is I've noticed some of the people on the wiki cuss, and that is an issue for me. I'm so blatantly opposed to it that I sometimes refuse to respond to people if they do it, which I feel like may be an issue.72.133.91.93 10:00, 31 July 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105
I mean, you can have an account and be opposed to cussing. VoqéoT 10:04, 31 July 2018 (EDT)
To be honest, I have nothing more to say except that I'll consider it. 72.133.91.93 10:09, 31 July 2018 (EDT)Blueflame105

Final Smash Pages[edit]

Hello there! What I meant by "changed to match other Final Smash pages", was that I found quite a few pages that had the same thing done to it and others that were different so I changed them to match what I had found to be the majority. Like the Overview. Most had one, but a few by a different name. I changed them so they would all match the majority. Also, some had what would be considered to be the "Overview" not in its own part, so I separated it. When I put that in the summery, I meant I was changing that part to match, not the entire page. If I had, I would have specified it in the summery. I also understand your concern about clogging the "recent changes". I know I'll probably forget which/what pages I would edit so I try to do them around the same time to prevent that. I'm sure I am not the only one to edit a couple (or a lot) of pages at a time. Interestingly, I noticed edits were kind of slow at that time so I guess mine seemed more prominent. (at least to me) 47.199.44.226 (talkcontribs) 11:50pm, 02 September 2018 (EDT)

Read what I posted on your talk page, and remember to post replies on the same page the discussion started on, thanks. Black Vulpine of the Furry Nation. Furries make the internets go! :3 00:18, 3 September 2018 (EDT)

Dark Samus model[edit]

Hi there, regarding this edit, do you have any evidence that it actually is a fully new model rather than just a reskin of the existing one? – Emmett 14:19, 24 September 2018 (EDT)

Not the IP here, but I think comparing between screenshots makes it pretty apparent. The helmet, shoulder pads, arm cannon, hand, thigh plates... Lots of details that were previously baked into the textures are now modeled, the textures themselves are completely different, and there are normal maps all over the place. The helmet design is different as well. SuperFalconBros (talk) 14:29, 24 September 2018 (EDT)
Yeah, I’m coming from the same place as Falcon, also, I don’t think they’ve ever reused a model, also when Mr. Sakurai was talking about Echo Fighters (might I add while he was showing off Dark Samus) he said Echo Fighters had Entirely new models. If you don’t believe me, watch the Direct again. 72.133.91.93 15:37, 24 September 2018 (EDT) Blueflame105

Account Creation[edit]

Hi, I'd like to again suggest that you consider creating an account. You've demonstrated already that you're a good contributor to the wiki, but not having an account makes it hard to communicate with you. To address some of your concerns posted above, NIWA doesn't request any information from you to create an account-- even including an email is optional-- and arguably posting through your IP address is even greater exposure than an account would be. Regarding people cursing, the ramifications of responding (or not) to people who do would be the same regardless of whether you are editing from an IP or from an account, so it can only serve to help other users on the wiki by providing a more accessible talk page. – Emmett 17:33, 10 October 2018 (EDT)

You can gain more things like rollback and will be able to upload images once you are autoconfirmed when you create an account. About the swearing, we aren't censored. But you can still contribute the same way even if it was censored. For personal use. Corrin Fan Walls Can Fall.jpg 09:36, 20 November 2018 (EST)
An icon used in notice templates. This is an IP's talk page. While it's not a requirement to have a username, those that do not can only be recognized by their IP address, which can change over time and/or be assigned to an unrelated user; they can even be shared by multiple users. If this talk page belongs to your IP but its comments are intended for someone else, you may want to login or create an account to eliminate future confusion.
