Note Block

Note Blocks are objects from the Mario franchise. They appear in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as elements of the 3D Land stage.

Origin

Note Blocks debuted in Super Mario Bros. 3, where they are bouncy white blocks with a black quarter note symbol printed on the front side. They later returned in Super Mario 3D Land with the same design and function.

Overview

Note Blocks function exactly as they do in the Super Mario series, bouncing players upward. In 3D Land, it helps players get onto a platform during the first stretch of the stage.
