The following is a list of character profiles that appear in Smash Remix. This list ignores the list of character profiles that normally exist in Super Smash Bros..

Bowser[edit]

Bowser, AKA King Koopa, has devised many plots to take over Mushroom Kingdom. At every turn, Mario has foiled his plans and restored peace to the lands.

Despite an alliance with Mario and Peach to recover the Seven Stars, Bowser returned to his evil ways, infiltrating Peach's Castle and holding the princess hostage.

Dr. Mario[edit]

When he isn't busy foiling Bowser's schemes, Mario throws on the lab coat and goes toe-to-toe with the pesky multi-colored viruses that infect his patients.

He works tirelessly day and night at the Mushroom Kingdom Hospital developing his amazing Megavitamins with the aid of his trusty assistant, nurse Toadstool.

Wario[edit]

Wario is a crude, greedy man and an old childhood friend of Mario and one of his biggest rivals. Jealous of his red clad rival's fame and fortune he first tried to overtake Mario's castle, but was promptly defeated by the man himself. Since then Wario has been trying to get rich by treasure hunting. He's sometimes willing to offer his help with his impressive durability and immense strength... for a price of course.

Young Link[edit]

The little fairy boy from the forest was ever excited the day the Great Deku Tree summoned him. With his helpful friend Navi by his side, the young boy set out to save the land of Hyrule from the ever-encroaching darkness. Even though he is not as large as his adult form, he is adept with bows, bombchus, and boomerangs.

Sheik[edit]

The youth known as Sheik appeared in Hyrule after Link returned to the Temple of Time. Sheik plays their harp to teach Link melodies instrumental to his quest to defeat Ganon.

Sheik has always kept their face masked and voice muffled. So Link had no way of knowing their true identity.

Trivia[edit]

  • Sheik's profile uses gender-neutral pronouns when describing the character, likely referencing the frequent discussion (particularly around the time of Ocarina of Time's release) surrounding Sheik's gender.

Ganondorf[edit]

Ganondorf, the King of Evil, strikes fear into the heart of all who cross his path. The Gerudo sorcerer aspires only to conquer the world. He would betray the King of Hyrule to dominate the land, transforming it into a world of monsters. Even without the Triforce of Power, Ganondorf borders on invincible. A dangerous foe indeed.

Dark Samus[edit]

The merciless Dark Samus was born from the fusion of dark phazon and Samus' phazon suit.

This being has no remorse as it corrupts and destroys its way around the universe, hunting down more precious Phazon.

King Dedede[edit]

"The Great King Dedede" is the self proclaimed king of Dream Land and Kirby's frenemy. Although he is known for his more mischievous origins, he has put his and Kirby's differences aside for the greater good of Planet Popstar several times.

Despite appearing to turn over a new leaf, he's still always willing to prove himself superior against his pink puff-ball rival.

Falco[edit]

In his early years, Falco formed and led a galactic gang. Eventually falling out with his crew, he ended up joining the elite Star Fox team where he befriended Fox McCloud.

As an ace pilot, his brash personality and unrivaled confidence have helped turn the tide of battles as well as ruffle the feathers of some crewmates.

Wolf[edit]

Wolf, leader of the Star Wolf team, was hired by Andross during the Lylat Wars to take out the Star Fox team. After meeting defeat on Fichina, Bolse, and Venom, and witnessing the fall of Andross to Star Fox, Wolf and his team fled and resumed the life of mercenaries.

Trivia[edit]

  • Star Fox 2 did not physically release until 2017, where it was included with the SNES Classic Edition. Though originally planned for a 1996 release, it was cancelled a year prior in 1995.

Mewtwo[edit]

Born from Mew and genetically altered, Mewtwo is an incredibly powerful Psychic-type PKMN.

Enraged by the experiments performed on it while in captivity at the Pokemon Mansion on Cinnabar Island, Mewtwo escaped and sought refuge in Cerulean Cave. Bold trainers can still find it there to this day.

Lucas[edit]

Lucas lives on the Nowhere Islands in the quant community of the Tazmily Village with his twin brother, Claus, his father Flint, mother Hinawa, and the beloved family dog Boney.

However, life has never been the same since the mysterious "Pig King" and his followers came to the scene...

Trivia[edit]

  • EarthBound 64 never ended up releasing for the 64DD, though the game was officially cancelled after Super Smash Bros. released.
    • Of note, however, is that Lucas in Smash Remix is based on his appearance in Mother 3, rather than his appearance in EarthBound 64.

Marth[edit]

Marth is a handsome blue haired prince from Archanea who quests throughout the land saving the day from corrupt nobles and fighting vicious black dragons. Marth is happily married to Princess Caeda and helps rule over his kingdom with a just hand. With his trusty sword the Falchion, nothing will stand in his way to bring peace to all the land.

  • Monshō No Nazo is the Japanese name for Mystery of the Emblem.
    • Prior to update 1.5.0, the game was not listed in Marth's profile.

Goemon[edit]

With his trusty companions Ebisumaru, Sasuke, and Yae, the Goemon team has saved Japan from the likes of clowns, dancers, nuns, and robot cats. While hot-tempered and brash, he always has time to stop by the local tea house to see his friend, Omitsu.

Trivia[edit]

  • In update 1.4.0, when Goemon released, his bio read the following instead:

With many adventures under his belt, Goemon has saved Japan from the likes of clowns, dancers, nuns, and robot cats. While hot-tempered and brash, he always has time to stop by the local tea house to see his friend, Omitsu.

A certain plumber has even been called the Goemon of the Mushroom Kingdom by some - what an honor!

Sonic[edit]

Sonic hails from the mysterious Christmas Island: although it would be hard to consider it home as he travels the world looking for adventure, never staying in one spot.

He does not consider himself a hero, but with his strong sense of justice he has saved many islands and even the entire "Little Planet" from the plans of Dr. Eggman.

  • Sonic's works unusually lists Sonic Jam, despite the game simply being a compilation of the original Sega Genesis titles on the Sega Saturn.

Banjo & Kazooie[edit]

Conker[edit]

After helping Diddy Kong and the gang save Timber's Island from the evil Wizpig, Conker had himself quite a night. A series of adventures in the Fairy Panther Kingdom ended with him as king, but at the cost of his love, Berri.

Marina[edit]

The Ultra-Intergalactic Cybot-G Marina Liteyears is a Maid Robot with the ability to boost, grab, and shake any foe that stands in her path.

She lives with Prof. Theo and her 7 sisters in a house that doubles as a starship. When Theo was kidnapped on Planet Clancer, Marina not only rescued him, but saved a planet on the brink of civil war.

Trivia[edit]

  • Though Dark Samus uses "Future Release" to denote that her debut title, Metroid Prime 2, released long after Super Smash Bros., other characters who already debuted have games listed that released after. These include:

    • Dr. Mario 64 (released in April 2001 in North America).
