I always thought that you could be meteor KO'd by mew and get hit with very minor damage. Kperfekt722 (talk) 23:11, 13 July 2008 (UTC)

Doesn't this page need official artwork? All the other Poke Ball pages have it. movie138music - (talk contribs) 14:41, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

They don't anymore and we do not need official artwork for nonplayable characters. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 14:42, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

In Melee, whoever opens the poke' ball, and finds Mew in it, will automatically win! The battle continues as normal, but even if the player who opened the poke' ball dies during the match, when the match ends, the poke' ball opener will still win. This only has effect in a multi-player match. I'm not sure if this happens in Brawl. The reason I'm saying this, is because one of the users keep deleting this whenever I put it on the page! Minifig-me (talk) 15:46, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

I'll test this again then.--MegaTron1XD:p 15:50, July 17, 2010 (UTC)
Why even do that. My youngest bro has gotten Mew several times and lost. A CPU got Mew in Brawl and lost. If you insist on this, then it must be a bonus battle then. There is no way Mew instant wins. Show PROOF if you try suggesting something like this.--MegaTron1XD:p 15:53, July 17, 2010 (UTC)
You are wrong, you do not automatically win the match if you summon Mew. You do get a "Mew Catcher" bonus, but do not insert false information in the article. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 15:55, July 17, 2010 (UTC)

Though I admit I don't have any proof, I've seen it happen, twice. once when I was playing with friends, and once when I was playing alone. 01:24, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

Well, you saw wrong. Unless you are doing a Bonus match, Mew does not affect the match in any way. I saw Mew many times and never did it result in an automatic win. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 01:46, July 18, 2010 (UTC)

I included the information about Mew being a trophy yesterday, but wasn't sure if I should include the trophy information itself. I decided it would be better to ask first before I added it. Ederek-Cole (talk) 22:04, July 19, 2010 (UTC)

The trophy information should be added. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 22:08, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
Okay, I posted the trophy information for Mew in Brawl, but I don't have the Mew trophy in Melee and I can't seem to find it online. I have done what I can. Ederek-Cole (talk) 22:30, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
Well, I feel stupid. I copied the information from the list of Melee trophies and pasted it here. I hope that's not against the rules. Ederek-Cole (talk) 02:09, July 20, 2010 (UTC)

Mew is capable of learning Fly in game, as shown by how it can learn every single HM and TM move out there. However, Fly is also listed as a move for Celebi and Jirachi, both incapable of learning Fly. Would this mean that the Fly listed for Mew is just a description of its actions, or is it the actual move in usage? MegaTron1XD:p 10:14, 14 November 2012 (EST)

We're just going by what's claimed on this page. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Non-Toxic 12:30, 14 November 2012 (EST)
Which still says that all three of the Mons can use Fly, which is obviously inaccurate when it comes to Celebi and Jirachi. MegaTron1XD:p 19:28, 14 November 2012 (EST)

SSB4 Chances[edit]

i think it's going to be 718/1. Igor The Mii (talk) 17:07, 16 September 2014 (EDT)

First of all, Diancie is legitimately released, so there's 719 officially available Pokemon. Second, until we have a source that can verify a claim like that for this game, we shouldn't state it. Miles (talk) 17:23, 16 September 2014 (EDT)

Spawn rate[edit]

I found this. It's worth note, but I trust Reddit about as far as I can throw their servers so... Serpent SKSig.png King 17:51, 14 February 2016 (EST)

While I did find an official source for 64, I'm concerned that some of it might have just been people assuming the pattern has continued without proof. Miles (talk) 18:09, 14 February 2016 (EST)
What is that source, if you don't mind my asking? Serpent SKSig.png King 18:34, 14 February 2016 (EST)

I'm pretty sure Brawl's ratio was mentioned somewhere on the Dojo before being replaced with SSB4's website. Unowninator (talk) 18:36, 14 February 2016 (EST)

The Dojo still exists. Can't find any mention of spawn rates on there - it just says Mew is rare. Zyrac sig.png Zyrac(talkcontribs) 04:45, 15 February 2016 (EST)

No spawn in Corneria or Mushroomy Kingdom?[edit]

Why can't Mew be summoned in either of those stages? 04:10, March 31, 2019 (EDT)
