Categories

Toomai explains why dark link can fit in those categories here. I don't necessarily agree with him, but I wanted to point it out just in case someone else does. DP99   15:52, July 11, 2010 (UTC)

why wasn't pichu in brawl

Boss template

Who's adding the boss template for DL? I have no problem with most of the template, I'm just uncomfortable with the 'A boss in' section. He was never a boss, look at the list of bosses.Qwerty the amazing 18:12, 17 May 2014 (EDT)

Shadow link is different from dark link

as a huge zelda fan, i have to point out that dark link and shadow link are completely different entities! why are we having shadow link on this page? Harro (talk) 05:53, 22 June 2014 (EDT)

Shadow Link really is a variant of Dark Link, and there's no denying that. Concept wise, they're pretty similar, back story be damned. The reason he's mentioned is because Toon Link's alternate costume resembles the Shadow Link form, seeing as how Shadow Link is based on him. MegaTron1XD 12:38, 22 June 2014 (EDT)

CORRECTION. The Toon Link costume you speak of is a toon version of DARK LINK. Shadow Link has never appeared in a Smash game. Also, Shadow and Dark are both different beings. Shadow Link is a creation of Ganondorf, but Dark Link's origins are from Bongo Bongo. Dark is an entity of darkness. Shadow is an entity of shadows. End of story. We don't really need a seperate page for the characters, but sure I've made it more clear on the page that they're not the same character. By the way, even ALBW references the similarites between the two characters by having the Shadow Link battle use a theme from Zelda 2, so it's not like Nintendo doesn't consider them similar. ♡FirstaLasto♥ 11:43, 5 August 2014 (EDT)
