ContentsTournament history[edit]2015-2018: Beginning Success with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U[edit]Drystan started his competitive Smash 4 career on December 27th, 2015, participating in a nearby local. Although he was unable to win this particular event, it nevertheless sparked his inevitable rise of consistency as a player. Drystan will later make a name for himself with his self-described "aggressive and in-your-face playstyle" and coupled with his frequent tournament grinding, led him to his first tournament win at RoMo 19 in January 2017. RoMo 19 also marked an important turning point in Drystan's career since not only was it his first win, it was his first out-of-state event. Since that first victory, Drystan proceeded to have a plethora of high tournament placements beginning with RoMo 22nd where he was again able to hold down his back-to-back victory streak, taking down Dr. B in grand finals. This led into other local/regional placments at WUnderland 6, where he took 3rd against Fye and Blazingskie and Smash Out Hunger 2017, where again Blazingskie defeated him with a 3/0 Grand Finals run. At House of Paign 15 (5 days later) Drystan made a run into top 8 taking out Indiana hailing MoarD and Amadeaus to do so. Two weeks later on December 23rd, he was able to make the first of many upsets against first-seeded player Tyroy, beatig him 2/0 in bracket and although he was later taken out by Tyroy, placing 4th, this did nothing to faze him as he went into 2018 with a vengeance, grabbing a quick victory at a new tournament STL series, Apollo. An odd-week later, Drystan placed 4th at Smash at Missou 2, where he lost to his now rival MJG (whom he eliminated in losers finals at Smash Out Hunger only a month prior). Dylan went through 2018 with strong tournament finishes, most recently at Stiff Knees 4 (2nd to Blazingskie) and Apollo 6 (2nd to MJG), potentially gunning for higher out-of-state finishes with his newfound ranking as 1st on STL's Power Rankings.
