Bosses will dynamically change which difficulty set they use as they hit certain thresholds (and it is different for every boss, mode, and Boss Battle third). Also if the threshold is defined as 50% it is actually 51% because I think float -> int so 50.99==50.0. Except with Petey. His cages are built correctly but in a weird way undo

Weird thing with Boss Battles' sets is that it uses the Easy-1 index for its Easy, but lines up on the other difficulties. There is another 5 sets after Boss Battles in adventure_common.arc/EnmCommon, but I'm not sure where they would be used undo
