Hello there! There's not much to know about me other than the fact that I love Super Smash Bros. and I fight in tournaments. I'm still practicing because I still have much to learn, but I'm getting there. I play the official Smash games as well as the fanmade ones, so I have a lot of variety. Also, me, my brother, and a friend of mine all host a tournament at a local comic book shop in Texas that's starting to see some small popularity, though still not notable enough to make articles about. My Smasher nickname is Disaster Flare and in Smash it's labeled D. Flare (SSB4) or D F (Melee) (Though some call me "The D" much to my dismay). In case you're wondering, Disaster Flare originates from the Flames of Disaster from Sonic '06. It was originally going to be Disaster Flame, but I wanted to be a tad original with it, and Disaster Flare has stuck ever since.

• Went through a big chunk of Smasher articles needing proper tournament placing tables and made them the best I could.
• Uploaded all event icons for SSB4 and made sure they all had the correct licenses and categories.
• Singlehandedly fought off a vandal for 14 minutes. (Not exactly notable but it's something I'm proud of nonetheless)
  • Fought off a vandal for 2 hours...from 3 AM to 5 AM...good thing Drill Blaster got on in time, otherwise I'd be up all night.
• Sorted through Smasher and tournament articles and added results tags to them.
• Created the stage transformation article almost all by myself. (I had some help from the king of serpents.)
  • Also created the trophy pages for Final Fantasy and Bayonetta
• Helped out with Cloud coverage. (Images mainly)
• Properly formatted multiple tournament pages, as well as added to them as best I can
• Added all images of Metal looks from the 3DS version (which took about 1-2 hours total)
• Added all stage icons to their respective universe pages (And uploaded 3DS icons in order to do so)
• Helped out heavily with coverage of Corrin and Bayonetta (uploading screenshots and other necessities, filling out trophy info, etc.)
• Uploaded animated gifs I made of almost every SSB4 victory pose (excluding the Miis because they're hard to find and Mario, Bayonetta, and two of Luigi's were already done)

My history with Smash

My first game was Super Smash Bros. Melee back when I was in Kindergarten. My parents had just bought my brother and I a GameCube and told us to pick out some games for it. Among the ones I recall picking were Melee, Sonic Adventure DX, Luigi's Mansion, and Animal Crossing. I recall getting so excited seeing the intro for Melee, the brilliant colors that showed our beloved Mario coming to life, ready to engage Link in combat. Of course, I sucked back in the day, much worse than I do now. I also recall getting so excited when I heard Mewtwo was in the game, but it took about 5 years before I could find out how to unlock it. This is where my history with Roy comes in. I remember the first time I saw Roy, I was in awe by how awesome he looked, I remember that I found him to be so cool, and I stick to that thought even to this day. Ever since I unlocked him, I'd always play as him, and ever since Roy has always been my boy, in Smash 4, Brawl-, and even PM, though my plays with him in the ladder two are much less prominent. It wasn't until I was 16 however when I started becoming interest in Smash competitively, when I first met one of my good friends, who ultimately ended up siding with me to host tournaments at said comic book store. Ultimately, these days my interest in competitive Smash isn't super prominent, as my skill lies within Marvel vs. Capcom, but I intend to keep getting better in Melee, my first game, and one day I hope to be able to participate in big tournaments and be on par with the best of the best, until then, I can keep dreaming. Also, I'm open to playing Smash with people, but I can only play on the 3DS version, as I still do not have a Wii U. Other Interests

Oh, so you wanna know what else I'm into huh? STALKER! I'm kidding. Well...what is there to say? I'm into a lot of things. I'm a recent fan of comic books, and I'm collecting them, mainly Deadpool and Green Lantern (Big fan of those two), and I'm into a variety of video game genres, including shooters (Except Call of Duty and Battlefield...abominations of society), horror, adventure, things like that. I'm also becoming a bigger fan of anime over time, with such titles that I watch being Dragon Ball, Lucky Star, Fairy Tail, Blue Exorcist, and Attack on Titan, but the list won't end there, there's a lot I plan on watching in the future. I'm also a big Marvel fan, not just in comics. I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and I'm completely caught up on it (looking forward to Infinity War). Let's see...I'm not big on politics, so please keep all political discussions away from me. I'll joke about it occasionally, but I'm not one for having intelligent discussions about it (i.e. which candidate I think should be president). That's...really all there is to say about me, other than I'm a HIGHLY competitive person. I don't mean to be, it's just a part of my personality. Oh, and I might be becoming an otaku now, due to my undying love for Fairy Tail, RWBY, Sword Art Online, Kill la Kill, Attack on Titan, and Dragon Ball Z.

Do I plan on joining other wikis? Not sure at this time, as I can't say I'm a big enough fan of some of the franchises that NIWA runs wikis for to make accounts on there. If they ever come out with a new one, I might potentially join the Golden Sun wiki, but beyond that, I'm not sure. If I ever do join any others, I'll be sure to add it here. The ones I have no plans to join AT ALL however are the Tetris wiki, Animal Crossing wiki, Pikipedia and Pikmin Fanon, Starfy wiki, F-Zero wiki, Dragon Quest wiki, and Wars wiki, mainly due to lack of interest in the respective franchises they represent. Trivia About Me

• I've encountered glitches in games that no one else has, and also have a knack for breaking games in crazy ways.
• I don't have a job currently, but I am an intern at my mom's comic book store
• I do not know how to drive, despite my age
• I am currently single
• If you have a problem with Roy, Ike, Captain Falcon, Shulk, and/or Mewtwo, I will respect your opinion, but I would advise that you do not go on a mile-long rant toward me about why I shouldn't like them either. That's rather annoying.
• Between Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony, I will always go for Nintendo, it's the company I grew up with.
  • In terms of computers, Microsoft
  • In terms of nothing at all, Sony, because Sony's bad and they should feel bad for what they've done to PlayStation's name (PS1 and PS2 were good however)
• I do not have any opinion on the concept of amiibo. I neither like them nor do I hate them, but I still plan on getting every Smash amiibo
• My favorite characters to ever appear in Smash, in no particular order, are Captain Falcon, Roy, Ike, Shulk, Mewtwo, Luigi, Mr. Game & Watch, R.O.B., and Ganondorf
  • Additionally, I believe in the idea that the only reason Jigglypuff is in Smash these days is because it's in Smash
  • I was okay with the idea of Ness being in Melee over Lucas, because I believe that the Original 12 should be in every Smash game, no matter what
  • I was NOT okay with the removal of Ice Climbers
  • I believe the most overrated/dumbest characters in Smash are Fox, Marth, Wii Fit Trainer, Sheik, and Charizard
    • I believe Charizard should've been dropped in favor of Squirtle
  • I believe the most overrated/dumbest characters NOT in Smash are King K. Rool, Shovel Knight, Shantae, and Tom Nook
• Those who think Shrek for Smash is a good idea needs to get off their computer and rethink their life.
• I find most memes these days to be very overrated, but I still sometimes quote them for irony purposes
• I was one person among many who had a problem with Sakurai pretending Greninja was Mewtwo for the reveal trailer
  • I was also among many who cried for a week when finding that Mewtwo was not part of the initial roster.
  • I was also among many who lost my crud and was screaming like a little girl when Mewtwo was finally revealed
• I believe that Quote deserves a chance in Smash more than Shovel Knight or Shantae
• I doubt the likelihood of Rayman becoming playable, but it's a nice idea
• When someone claims they're a Star Wars fan to me, I use what I call the Jar Jar Method. If you like Jar Jar or at the very least tolerate him, you're a true Star Wars fan. It's okay to hate Hayden Christensen however.
• I enjoy hacking Super Smash Bros. Melee, and might start a hacked playthrough of it if I ever start YouTubing again.
• I have two cats named Fargo and Chiana. Chiana's anti-social and greedy and with Fargo, pet him once, and he'll love you until the day you die.
  • In turn, I can be considered a cat person, has I have close to zero tolerance for dogs.
• My favorite music varies, but I love to listen to video game music, as well as some artists that nobody likes.
  • My favorite soundtrack ever from a video game is SSB4.
• I am known on Xbox Live for my skill in Rayman Legends and Halo 4.
