• Bracket rounds: Seed 1 vs. Seed 4 and Seed 2 vs. Seed 3, Tag Team Squad Strike, best of 3, 6 minutes Stock mode, random stage, hazards off, stage morph every 2 minutes, all items on low (minus Pokéball, Master Ball, and Assist Trophy)
• Finals: Tag Team Squad Strike, best of 5, 6 minutes Stock mode, random stage, hazards off, stage morph every 2 minutes, all items on low (minus Pokéball, Master Ball, and Assist Trophy)
