Including a Picture for the Vergeben leaks?

Since the Gematsu leaks page has a fanart picture in the top right, should we have one for the Vergeben leaks page? --Andreepika11233 (talk) 11:21, September 3, 2019 (EDT)

If there is one, I think it would work --Tailikku (talk) 11:38, September 3, 2019 (EDT)

<gigantic picture spam/troll removed>

Skull Kid has nothing to do with these leaks.--Tailikku (talk) 10:36, September 4, 2019 (EDT)

Information

If any new information from Vergeben comes to light, please place it here.--Tailikku (talk) 11:42, September 3, 2019 (EDT)

Motion to give the Holy Loz18 a page

Oppose we should give him the entire site. Praised be upon the man who slaid the evil Kraut Man! Kraut Man Bad! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.56.148.18 (talkcontribs) 17:17, September 3, 2019 (EDT)

IP, this is not how you use the talk page. Please leave your Loz18 grudge behind, it's in the past. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 17:26, September 3, 2019 (EDT)
Hard Oppose to that idea, even though I know that this is an insane troll who has a huge beef against both of them. --Tailikku (talk) 22:40, September 3, 2019 (EDT)
Also you didn't sign your comment. Supα Toαd 64, The Best MK64ToadCSP.jpg 22:47, September 3, 2019 (EDT)
This. Please do so in the future with four tildes (~~~~) Awesomelink234, the Super Cool Gamer Leave a message if needed 23:16, September 3, 2019 (EDT)
I also Oppose this. Vergeben has so far been pretty darn reliable, and is deserving of his own page. Loz18 has been proven to be incorrect multiple times. 73.31.9.110 18:35, September 9, 2019 (EDT) SquireTurnbolt
End of discussion. This post was made by a troll, and does not add anything to the wiki. Aidan, the Rurouni 18:36, September 9, 2019 (EDT)

This image

Is this image necessary? It just shows a claim that Vergeben is denying and doesn't add much to the article at all. Plus, what makes this image stand out among the other quotes that Verbegen has made? I really don't see a reason for this image. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 19:52, September 9, 2019 (EDT)

We could use other images of his claims; I'm perfectly fine with that. I made that edit short on time and could only grab one. All I don't want is this page to be one giant block of text, and I thought decent precedent exists with the ChaosZero leak. Plus, his posts can be saved this way (and some of them have already been deleted and don't seem to be on the wayback machine). - EndGenuity (talk) 17:47, September 21, 2019 (EDT)
Still, images of text is basically the same thing as just typing it out, it's not interesting and is not a good supplement to the passage. This could be one of the instances where fan art could work, as we did the same thing for the Gematsu leaks. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 17:52, September 21, 2019 (EDT)
If a good piece can be found, I won't mind removing it. For now though, I'd rather keep it. Yes, we could just interrupt the paragraph for a quote, but still. - EndGenuity (talk) 17:56, September 21, 2019 (EDT)
I've actually spoke to the person who made the article and luckily he realized his mistake and changed it up. Just a small mistake he made nobody hard-latched on to gladly. I don't think its necessary to be put on to the page either, lol.ZenythSmash (talk) 07:38, November 14, 2019 (EST)

Just wanna say think you for creating this page, whoever did it

And i want to apologize for not providing what i know at the time i offered to. College can drain your life hard. in return, i am going to add the true source to the original Isabelle claims in the wiki page. a certain EventHubs journalist i know kept track of Vergeben rumors at the time it was still unknown it was true, so he convinietly made a screencap of all the posts he made in the thread.

i may later someday put into some in-detail context of how Verge's sources work, so people can get the clear picture he's just a guy with many sources. (unless you want to believe he's multiple insiders, be my guest lmfao) ZenythSmash (talk) 07:36, November 14, 2019 (EST)

No problem. --Tailikku (talk) 21:55, November 26, 2019 (EST)

Source for certain info

The recent page update stated that Vergeben claimed that neither he nor his source knew who FP5 was. I don’t remember him saying that. The only one that stated it was in reply to his post saying his source wasn’t sure about KOS-MOS.

If he knew who it was.......... he would know if it was KOS-MOS or not.......... TheNuttyOne 23:42, January 5, 2020 (EST)

ARMS fighter leak

Where's the source for Vergeben stating the ARMS character would have different fighters for alts? I couldn't find anything on his GameFAQs page or his Reddit account. PikaPhantom (talk) 17:21, June 10, 2020 (EDT)

That’s what I’m gonna find out. SonDanielAn icon for my signature.A signature head icon. (talk page) 17:29, June 10, 2020 (EDT)

Okay, according to this article [1], someone speaking for him on Twitter confirmed it. SonDanielAn icon for my signature.A signature head icon. (talk page) 17:43, June 10, 2020 (EDT)

I do not think whatever was posted on 4chan and from NewWabiSabi is reliable, since Vergeben posted the opposite public information at the GameFAQS during the night before the reveal. WabiSabi also had shared mistaken stuff in the past, so who ever told him about what DasVergeben said was probably trying to validate the 4chan post with false information just to discredit him. However, his activity page never updated until today for some weird reason, which could explain why so many other people had no idea about his recent postings prior the Smash and Pokemon stuff. That said, the character he officially rumored was only Min Min, this DM leak is likely fake, its not that hard to do Inspect Element within a direct message. --Ryzmat 15:52, June 26, 2020 (EDT)

Just would like to point out that the linked post was made well after Min Min was actually revealed (late in the evening on 6/22, while Min Min was announced that morning). The point stands that the other rumor probably doesn't originate from him, but he also did not state anything about Min Min before she was common knowledge. TheNuttyOne 17:20, June 26, 2020 (EDT)
Yeah, also WabiSabi has been doing very discriminating things as of late according to accusers, there's a big chance that claim was entirely made up just to discredit another prominent insider. Nothing very raw to back this, but this just tell you not to take these claims seriously.--Ryzmat 14:02, July 12, 2020 (EDT)

Minecraft

I can pretty confidently sure that a statement from 2 years ago mentioning Minecraft in smash was is in no way a prediction or leak towards Steve in smash. So, is there a reason as to why his mention of Minecraft representation comes under his proven documents when the statement is extremely outdated? Just curious (and sorry for any rudeness). 81.87.12.50 12:10, October 1, 2020 (EDT)

Oh and I apologise for the bad grammar. 81.87.12.50 12:11, October 1, 2020 (EDT)

-I agree. I don’t think a statement that old should be proven just because of Steve being announced, considering it was 2 years ago when it was made and quite a long while before FP2 was even planned. -Operationgamer17 12:16, October 1, 2020 (EDT)

He's saying on GameFAQs that this is what he's heard. End of the day he heard Minecraft content was coming to Smash, and it happened. That's the facts. Any other comments are just fanboy speculations. 58.168.4.52 13:58, October 1, 2020 (EDT)

Maybe this could be worth adding. https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/234547-super-smash-bros-ultimate/79011455?jumpto=103#103 -Operationgamer17 2:54, October 1, 2020 (EDT)

You guys should also give Hitagi some spare light, since he was also one of the few other people calling in on Steve for Smash. (Yes, he's retired from rumors.)Ryzmat 22:16, October 1, 2020 (EDT)

According to former Minecraft production director Daniel Kaplan, this has been in the works for at least 5 years. So it could well be that Verge was right after all. 73.40.56.255 11:16, October 2, 2020 (EDT)
