Talk:Super Jump Punch
I noticed that Mario and Dr. Mario Super Jump Puch is really uselful vs groups of enemy with reduced knockback resistance (Kirby and Yoshi team from SSBM Adventure Mode, for example). Should we add it ? Paratroopafan (talk) 23:49, May 22, 2010 (UTC)
Split
Same move name, same concept, different properties, oppose Serpent King 19:51, 28 April 2016 (EDT)
Oppose as well, they're not really that distinct from each other, and if the bros.' Fireballs are both on one page, I see no reason to split this one. Xamad (talk) 20:00, 28 April 2016 (EDT)
ObligatoryAgreeing opposition per Serpent. Disaster Flare (talk) 20:02, 28 April 2016 (EDT)
The Blasters got split, though: how are these different? (Mario's and Dr Mario's share customs and are much more similar in Melee, though.) -Menshay (talk) 20:09, 28 April 2016 (EDT)
- Blasters between Fox/Falco are not the same concept (one's rapid fire with 0 KB, the other is a normal slow laser) Serpent King 20:11, 28 April 2016 (EDT)
Order of magnitude of similarity is quite high here. Keep them together. Miles (talk) 21:21, 28 April 2016 (EDT)
- Agree: oppose per everyone else. Penro 21:54, 28 April 2016 (EDT)
Split 2
I'll reiterate what SK said three years ago: "same move name, same concept, different mechanics." It's the same with the Blaster pages, which are currently being proposed to be merged together. Aidan, the Springing Rurouni 14:30, April 12, 2019 (EDT)
- Although I'd rather Super Jump Punch to stay merged, I think we should wait until after a decision is reached for the Star Fox Blasters & Reflectors as they have the same concept for merging & splitting as this page, so whatever it ends up being for the others, can be applied for this page as well.
