Talk:List of regional version differences (SSBM)

It's a good article, but a bad title. "Difference" and "comparison" are redundant. I suggest moving this to "version differences (SSBM)," so we can incorporate NTSC 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 differences also. MaskedMarth (t c) 01:47, February 8, 2007 (GMT)

So I take it the NTSC versions apply to the Japanese one?

I looked up at GSCentral, and there seem to be three different versions of the Japanese one just like the North American one, so I'm assuming that the list applies to the Japanese versions as well? NTSC also consists of the Japanese game, so... 67.214.24.165 00:37, 5 June 2009 (UTC)

Stub

I noticed that this article is labeled as a stub, but it looks complete to me. However, I'm not to knowledgeable about the version differences so before removing the stub, would anyone be able to explain what this article is missing besides direct statistics? It looks like it has everything. Even if it didn't, a stub would not be the proper tag. An incomplete would be. Dr. Pain 99 Dp99.png Talk 17:13, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

Lylat Wars

Because I have never played Melee, I don't know, but the article says that Star Fox 64, as it is called in NTSC regions, is reffered to as Lylatwars in PAL versions of Melee, though the game is officially called Lylat Wars in Australia and Europe. Is that an error or not?--FalcoHeadSSBB.png PSIWolf (TCE) 12:55, 27 September 2011 (EDT)

Likely an error. Semi on topic: is Star Fox 64 3D called Lylat Wars 3D overseas? Blindcolours TONDA GOSSA. 17:14, 27 September 2011 (EDT)

Changing the organization

I think that this page would be significantly neater and easier to read if we arranged differences by character, rather than listing them one by one under each version number, such as here. Non character-specific changes could also be arranged by the elements to which they pertain. For example, under "Stages", it would say "Rainbow Cruise (All NTSC) was renamed Rainbow Ride (PAL)". Changes that actually aren't really changes

Currently we list some changes twice: once under the character that actually changed (e.g. Bowser's down throw), and again under the character who the change affected (e.g. Jigglypuff and G&W being damaged by said throw). Since nothing about the second character actually changed this doesn't really make a whole lot of sense. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Irrepressible 16:39, 13 October 2013 (EDT)
