Maybe either they've updated it or something, but Mario's Shocking Cape can slightly stall in mid-air, just not as much as the default and Gust Cape. It was probably difficult to notice by any chance?

The no knockback part could be disputable; there is evidence that caping a Fox/Falco near the end of his side B (recovery) with stun him, while he *should* be in landfallspeciallag. annoying1359 02:47, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Melee-Brawl Changes

Something i've noticed: in Melee, the cape caused Mario to bounce forward slightly. This effect seems to have been removed in Brawl, although it still slows his fall.

Missing Techniques

The Cape has more usages than are listed here. There are ones such as the reverse cape glide and the cape boost/meta knight insta-kill/NO CAPES (as I like to call it). Would somebody please add them and other techniques. 96.251.166.202 23:45, 6 August 2013 (EDT)

Why won't you do it? Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 03:10, 7 August 2013 (EDT)

Cape jump glitch

Is this really a glitch? Looks like it's just some physics exploit. The glitch has also appeared in both games, so it's unlikely to be an error on the programmers' part. GreenMarioBrawlHead.png Green Mario 19:57, 15 January 2014 (EST)
