Merge[edit]

I think the enemy and item should be merged, because it's inconvenient and they are same thing. Despite Screw Attack are separated, but they are an action and an item, like Fire Flower and Fireball, I don't think they are the same. Even though I admit that item and move should be split, enemy and item should be discussed separately.--Capstalker (talk) 12:42, May 21, 2019 (EDT)

One of the main problems is that it is the only one like that. Screw Attack refers to both an item and a move, same with Boomerang. No other enemy doubles as an item. Red Shell is an item, but is separate from the Red Koopa page. The pages already point out other at the beginning of the page, is that not enough? If I’m not mistaken, it’d be the only item without its own page if not. I’m not sure if it should be merged or not now. Maybe? 216.53.157.120 15:41, May 21, 2019 (EDT)
In fact, it's not the only one. Cucco is also both an item and an enemy.--Capstalker (talk) 01:04, May 22, 2019 (EDT)
Then I guess it could be merged considering it works for Cucco. 216.53.157.120 01:08, May 22, 2019 (EDT)
I agree, these two articles merely describe two different functions of one enemy from the same universe. Merge. KungFuLakitu, Spiny Overlord 20:48, May 22, 2019 (EDT)

Merge. The Bullet Bill article can be easily cleaned up as to focus on both Bullet Bill's appearance + function as an enemy and an item. It seems pretty useless to have separate articles on both the enemy/item versions of the same thing. Acgamer28 (talk) 21:20, January 20, 2020 (EST)

Merge per users above. It seems pointless for them to be split just because one is an enemy and the other is an item. It's literally the same character. Image for my signiture icon. OmegαToαd the Toαd Wαrrior (BUP) 07:31, April 4, 2020 (EDT)
