- For the attack type, see Spike.
Spikes are recurring stage elements in the Super Smash Bros. series. When touched they deal some damage and knockback.
Spikes appear in the following stages:
- several Subspace Emissary stages.
- PictoChat (one version only).
- the Smash Run stage.
- Gerudo Valley, at the bottom of the stage while the bridge is broken.
- The Great Cave Offensive.
- Palutena's Temple.
They can also be used as stage elements in Super Smash Bros. Brawl's Stage builder, where they come in 1x1, 2x2 and 3x3 sizes. These spikes always deal 15% damage.
