zerothetheif is a mostly retired smasher orignally from Brazil but now residing in South Florida. He has been smashing since 64 but only started competing competitively in mid 2005. While a decent competitor, the smashers of South Florida know him more as a tournament organizer/host and commentator.

He formerly held the # 14 spot in the South Florida Project M Power Rankings

Super Smash Bros. Melee

zerothetheif was formerly a Sheik main, until 2006 after watching MLG New York videos, where he was inspired by Wife and his cutthroat victories to pick up Peach. His love for Peach came from his dreams of one day being a princess and would often cosplay as Princess Peach. His Peach relied heavily on down smash and frequently would pop off after not going 0-2 in bracket. Zero The Princess(his alter ego) would frequent Zero Ping and take massive Peach sized dumps in the bathroom. To this day it still smells in that bathroom. He still likes to revisit the bathroom and imagine those turds clogging the toilet just one more time.

After leaving the scene in 2008 shortly after the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he came back in October 2013 thanks to the resurgence of the scene through EVO 2013 and the documentary The Smash Brothers. He questioned why there wasn't a Smash Sisters documentary, but has long let that go. Since then he has grown as a player thanks to the encouragement of his fellow South Florida players such as Blea Gelo, Rula, and Spider Sense. Through their "coaching" and scripts of adderall he went 2-2 at his very first tournament in June of 2014. The adderall was effecting his ability to take record sized dumps so he decided it was time to call it quits. It is told he never won another tournament set after that. "One day I will be the next Hokage" was his last quote at a melee tournament.

Throughout 2014 he could often be found in doubles teaming with Rula, where despite not being as skilled as certain opponents, their chemistry has given them victories over teams such as Trikrome and Marsfool!. Marsfool and Trikrome were reported to have been tripping on Acid and "sippin' lean" during this set, but still a win is a win. One day having a very close set against ChuDat and Chillindude829 at EVO 2014 he immediately had to use the restroom where he is heard to have yelled "F**K yeah" and began to slap his knee afterward. He also defeated Puerto Rico's Derrell in a best of 5 money match while he attended EVO 2014. Darrell was a Mario main who lived in Puerto Rico rumored to have been an honorable mention on their PR in 2008.

As much as he enjoys competing he has taken a liking to commentating and TOing. He figured well, I'll never be good at melee so I might as well find another way to ruin it! He's had the opportunity to help the Gaming Knights of UCF to run pools at CEO Winterfest and CEO 2014 Prologue, as well as commentated a couple matches at the aforementioned events. His commentary always lead back to his Peach sized dumps at Zero Ping. After 10 minutes of his commentary he was forced off of the Mic. He then, after they felt bad, had the chance to help run brackets and judge at EVO 2014. Mr. Wizard has since banned him from any future Evo Events. Also he's been able to host and run many tournaments during spring and summer of 2014 through Versus Gaming Center. Most recently he got to do a decent amount of commentating at The Big House 4 with Melee Milwaukee and Tourney Locator. He realized if he sucked off the TO they would maybe let him talk about his dumps on the Mic. His most notable quote was "God, this guy's green Fox reminds me of this one time at Zero..." where he was then kicked off of the Mic.

He has gone onto a mostly retired state since April 2015, occasionally showing up at Zero Ping well...you know by this point.

Project M

While initially zerothetheif wasn't very interested in Project M's competitive scene, this all changed when he started to pickup Zelda randomly during a smashfest. When he tried Zelda it reminded him of Peach because all he had to do was one move! His favorite part of Zelda was when he could change into Sheik using the down-b move!

Recently at Paragon Orlando 2015 he did really well in Project M. Not dropping a single game in his pools except to Plup, landing himself 5th seed out of 5. Leading himself to a 25th place placing in the 25 man tournament. He also shocked many players at his impressive Project M Zelda play since many believed she wasn't as viable of a character since the 3.5 release of the game. Nobody could believe how bad he was.

Zerothetheif has since quit the game and still changes brackets occasionally online.
