Slayer is a Captain Falcon and Marth main from Minnesota, though he obtained much of his skill in Michigan. He is currently ranked 1st in Project M and Melee in the Minnesota Power Rankings.

At The Big House 5 he cruised through 1st round pools. In 2nd round he beat Android 2-1 then lost to Lucky 0-2. He then beat Alan 2-1 to make it into top 64 bracket on losers side. In bracket he beat Toph 2-0 before losing to Zhu 0-2 to finish at 33rd place. He teamed up with Kirby main Triple R and beat the team of Chillin and Professor Pro and finished at 17th place.
