Katakiri is a smasher from Columbus, Ohio who mains Mii Gunner and is considered one of the best Mii Gunner players in the United States in the early metagame. In early 2020, he picked up Mii Brawler and currently describes himself as a co-main of both Miis. Katakiri formerly mained Pokémon Trainer but has dropped the character since switching to Gunner in mid June 2019. He has taken sets off players such as Umeki, Geist, Darkshad, colinies, Doorstop, and Komota. Between April and December 2019 he was ranked amongst the Midwest Top 50, placing 17th in the Great Lakes region and as the highest ranking Mii Gunner main. He was last ranked 2nd on the Columbus Power Rankings and 6th on the Ohio Smash Ultimate Power Rankings in 2020, before taking an extended leave from the scene.

In Smash 4, he mained Mewtwo and formerly Meta Knight. He was considered to be one of the best Mewtwo players in the midwest, as well as one of the best Meta Knight players in the United States, along with Ito, Tyrant, and S2H. He is formerly ranked 2nd on the Ohio Smash 4 Power Rankings.
