The second custom variation of Dancing Blade is called Heavy Blade. Marth has a lot more damage and knockback with each swing. In exchange for more power, the input time is stricter and each hit is harder to land due to the increased knockback. More often that not, the swings will not connect with each other due to said reasons. This move is generally considered inferior to it's standard variation because of its slow speed. It's highly punishable if blocked or avoided and majority of the time the move cannot be used as a natural combo. The move also has slightly more start-up and despite its power, it's harder to KO with.

The second custom variation of [[Dancing Blade]] is called '''Heavy Blade'''. Each swing of this attack has significantly more range, damage and knockback, in exchange for stricter input timing and slightly longer startup. Due to both the tighter input window and the greater knockback, its hits are much harder to link together, and because of this Heavy Blade is generally considered inferior to Marth's default side special. This is exacerbated by it being highly punishable if blocked or avoided and being a largely unreliable KO move despite its power.

This article is about the hitbox visualization in Super Smash Bros. 4. For the move itself, see Heavy Blade.

Overview[edit]

The second custom variation of Dancing Blade is called Heavy Blade.
