Overview

Link shoots his Hookshot forward, and grabs opponents with it. Link's is one of three characters in the game to possess a tether grab, along with Samus and Yoshi. Link has the furthest reaching grab in the game, but it is also the second slowest, behind Samus'. It leads to his back and forward throws, which are powerful kill-throws. It comes out on frame 17, stays for 11 frames, and has 55 frames of cool down.
