The 2 Button is a small, white button located towards the bottom of the Wii remote, below the 1 Button. When playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl, with the Wii remote and Nunchuk, the 2 Button executes a character's down taunt. 1 and 2 can be pressed together in Nunchuk style to perform a character's side taunt. When playing with the Wii remote held sideways, the 2 Button is used for standard attacks and smash attacks when held with one of the directions of the D-pad at the same time. Pressing 1 and 2 when holding the Wii Remote in horizontal style can also execute a character's side smash.
