Additions
- Bayonetta and Corrin can be downloaded from the Nintendo eShop, with the new Mii Fighter costumes.
- Umbra Clock Tower is included with the purchase of Bayonetta.
- Castle Siege and Coliseum have two new music tracks included with Corrin.
Bowser
- Dash attack damage: 10%/8% → 12%/10%.
- Hitbox on Flying Slam grab increased in size.
- Up throw's knockback increased, reducing its combo potential.
Bowser Jr.
- Forward smash has less ending lag: frame 60 → frame 56
- Up smash has less ending lag: frame 63 → frame 57
- Down smash has less ending lag: frame 68 → frame 60
- Forward aerial damage: 8%/5% → 9%/7%
Falco
- Up smash hits one frame earlier (8 → 7), hits better against ducking opponents and has higher knockback growth. It has also gained intangibility on Falco's legs.
- Down smash has higher knockback growth: 76 → 78.
Ganondorf
- Weight slightly increased: 112 → 113
Ike
- Neutral aerial damage: 9%/6% → 10%/7%.
- Neutral aerial launch angle (70° → 80°).
- Forward aerial damage: 12% → 13%.
Kirby
- Weight slightly increased: 77 → 79.
Little Mac
- Up tilt has less startup (frame 5 → frame 4) and lasts one more frame (6 → 7).

- Back aerial deals 1.825% more damage : 9.975% → 11.8%.
- Up aerial deals 1.425% more damage : 9.975% → 11.4%.
- Both hitboxes of down aerial deal 0.9% more damage : sourspot 11.4%/meteor 13.3% → sourspot 12.3%/meteor 14.2%.
- Dancing Blade improved. The first hit hits one frame earlier (7 → 6), has one frame less of endlag both grounded and in the air (IASA: 42/32→ 41/31.

Marth
- Jab 1 IASA: 28 frames → 25.
- Both neutral attacks have bigger tipper hitboxes: 6.5u → 7u.
- Forward tilt's tipper hitbox is bigger: 6.7u → 7.7u.
- Forward tilt IASA: 36 frames → 33.
- Up tilt IASA: 36 frames → 33.
- Down tilt sour x hitbox is larger: 15.2u → 16.7.
- Down tilt's sour y hitbox is smaller: 3.2u → 2.7u.
- Down tilt's tipper hitbox is larger: 6.7u → 8.2u.
- Down smash IASA: 64 frames → 54.
- The tipper hitbox of both hits of neutral attack are bigger: 6.7u (hit 1)/6.5u (hit 2) → 7.7u/7.5u.
- First hit of neutral aerial deals 0.5% and 1% more damage in both the sourspot and the tip respectively: 3%/4% → 3.5%/5%.
- Second hit of tipped neutral aerial deals 0.5% more damage. 9% → 9.5%.
- Forward aerial deals 1% and 1.5% more damage in both the sourspot and the tip respectively: 7%/10% → 8%/11.5%.
- Forward aerial's tipper hitbox has increased: 6.7u → 7.7u.
- Back aerial's tipper hitbox is bigger: 6.7u → 7.7u.
- Up aerial deals 0.5% and 1% more damage in both the sourspot and the tip respectively: 9%/12% → 9.5%/13%.
- All hits of down aerial deals 1% more damage: 11%/13%/14% → 12%/14%/15%.
- Dancing Blade improved. The first hit has less startup (7 → 6) and has one frame less of endlag both grounded and in the air (IASA: 42/32→ 41/31.)
Pac-Man
- Neutral air (clean) damage: 11% → 10%
- Power Pellet dash damage: 1% → 4%
- Power Pellet end damage: 10% → 12%
- Pac-Jump deals 1% more damage on all hits: 5%/6%/7% → 6%/7%/8%.
Palutena
- Jab looping hits deal less damage.
Rosalina and Luma
- Weight slightly decreased: 78 → 77.
Roy
- Neutral aerial landing lag: 13 → 11
- Forward aerial landing lag: 15 → 13

- Vanish's disappearance hitbox knockback scaling (104 → 102) and size are slightly decreased (14 → 13).
Sonic
- Weight: 95 → 94
Toon Link
- Back aerial landing lag: 22 → 17.
- Forward smash's first hit now properly links to the second regardless of damage.
- Spin Attack and Flying Spin Attack have 2 less frames of startup.
Zero Suit Samus
- Weight slightly decreased: 81 → 80.
- Boost Kick angle: 50° → 48°
- Boost Kick knockback growth decreased: 220 → 209.
