==Origin==
The trails of water that this move forms are similar to the electrical sparks that Pikachu forms with Quick Attack; it is possible that this move is merely a variation of Quick Attack used by Greninja. Greninja is capable of learning Quick Attack through both of its pre-evolved forms, Frogadier and Froakie.
If this move is not Quick Attack, it is possible that Greninja's up special is the Pokémon move Aqua Jet, a Water-type move that otherwise functions identically to Quick Attack; +1 priority, 40 power, and 100% base accuracy (although Aqua Jet has 20PP, ten uses less than Quick Attack). However, Greninja is incapable of learning Aqua Jet in the Pokémon games.
