Super Smash Bros. winners wario 1v1

Kansai 2015 (or 8th Kansai) was a national Super Smash Bros. tournament held in the Kansai region of Japan. There were 51 entrants and it was streamed on Nico Nico. This tournament is also notable because Jousuke, the top 64 player in Japan for the last several years, did not win. Instead, it was wario, the top Pikachu. Due to Japanese customs/rules, there was no prize fund.

Interestingly, Kansai 2015 experimented with a new tournament format: double elimination. The eight pool winners were seeded into a double-elimination best-of-one Top 8 bracket.
