Little R[edit]

Given your recent edit summary it seems you have given Little R permission to edit your userpage. If that is the case then we won't revert his edits to your page. Feel free to pass the message to him if you want. --CanvasK (talk) 19:53, March 29, 2025 (EDT)

SW:NOTABLE[edit]

Players who do not fall under the notability guidelines cannot have a page. Also please take a look at SW:SMASHER for what belongs on a Smasher page upon creation.

In addition, as a new user, do not create new categories without a discussion or consulting someone experienced. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 17:08, April 2, 2025 (EDT)

I apologize for this. Please Delete my changes and categories —Preceding unsigned comment added by ChitnisNathan (talkcontribs) 17:11, April 2, 2025 (EDT)

Another reminder regarding SW:SMASHER. Upon creation, a Smasher page needs to have an intro, infobox, tournament results, and categories. If you need any help with creating a Smasher page, you can always copy-paste from another Smasher page or ask one of us. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 23:47, May 15, 2025 (EDT)

Dude, you really have to put more effort into these Smasher pages. Don't make them for the sake of adding to your "pages I've created" list. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 17:24, May 16, 2025 (EDT)

Gonna have to bump this again. It does not matter what page you are making, put actual effort into it. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 20:39, July 27, 2025 (EDT)

SW:SOCK[edit]

After being notified of the similar editing behavior between you and Little R (talkcontribslogs), I did a Check User and found multiple IP matches between the two accounts, confirming that account was you operating a sock. On SmashWiki you are only allowed to operate one account, and trying to pretend being someone else will not be tolerated. I didn't permaban you immediately despite this severe policy violation, but trying to sock again will result in one. Your low effort Smasher pages are also not acceptable, create a Smasher page again that consists of only a single sentence or two with no results and you'll get banned for that too. If you want a build up an article piecemeal instead of trying to make it substantial all at once, then make it as a draft in your user space. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 20:11, April 3, 2025 (EDT)

That warning to stop creating low effort Smasher pages was serious, if you repeat that yet again after this block is up, you will be banned again for much longer. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 18:19, May 16, 2025 (EDT)

Tournament pages[edit]

Tournament pages should be created under the "Tournament" namespace (eg, Tournament:Lima 2012). In addition, don't forget to add categories to the page. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 10:46, July 25, 2025 (EDT)

Smasher pages[edit]

A few more things, when adding results to Smasher pages, do not forget to include entrants count for placements as well (eg 1st / 112 instead of just 1st). Make sure to use the entrants count from Start.gg and not from any other source such as Smashers.app. Also some very minor stuff you should take note of, such as how we format the date. If you have any doubts, you can always copy the format on existing Smasher pages. Lastly, I do have to reiterate that you shouldn't create Smasher pages for the sake of adding to your "Smashers’ Pages I’ve Created" list. As such, I strongly suggest reading or refreshing upon SW:NOTABLE and SW:SMASHER. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 14:02, July 27, 2025 (EDT)

Teams[edit]

Just a quick thing, you do not need to add that "X team is one of many teams in X country". Most countries with a notable scene have many different teams and sponsors, and this sentence is just redundant and pointless. CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 17:45, August 5, 2025 (EDT)

I Apologize, I will keep that in mind. ChitnisNathan (talk) 17:49, August 5, 2025 (EDT)

Show preview[edit]

Just a quick thing, instead of making multiple edits, it's better to use the "show preview" option so you can see a preview of the page you are editing. That way, your edits won't be clogging up "recent changes". CookiesCnC Signature.pngCreme 14:39, September 27, 2025 (EDT)

Yo. Giving you a reminder of this. You shouldn't be making edits every few minutes or so, especially when they don't change a lot on the actual page. Aidan the Spooky Gamer 12:12, October 1, 2025 (EDT)
You're still not doing this, both here and on Liquipedia. Here's an image, for your convenience:

I would also have to add, some have noted that it seems like you are treating your userpage as a sort of live updater. A reminder that SmashWiki is not a personal profile, and while we are in green status, it's still highly recommended to actually help out on the wiki instead of focusing exclusively on your userpage, especially since nearly 50% of your edits have been just that, and you've barely made any constructive mainspace edits within the last month or so. Probation[edit]

Hi there, because of you ignoring the repeated warnings above this post, you have been put on indefinite probation. As I mentioned in the block message, and as was mentioned above, we are not a personal profile, and we would like to see you contributing positively to the site as a whole before ending your probation period. Do, however, keep in mind the above reminders to use "Show preview" when making edits, as to not flood the Recent Changes page with a bunch of small edits.
