The following is a list of connections between Super Smash Bros. and other games in the platforming fighter genre in relation to real-world development and IP. This does not include connections between crossover source material in ways that do not apply to game content. It will not include arena fighters or non-combat-based platforming competitive games.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale[edit]
- Content from Tekken and Metal Gear is featured, though the character selections do not overlap, and neither have a stage, with Metal Gear instead taking up a small element of a LocoRoco stage.
Brawlhalla[edit]
- Shovel Knight, Ryu, Ken, Simon, Alucard and Mega Man are featured, alongsie various other characters from their series and Rayman, some of whom have had minor roles in Smash games.
- Suzaku Castle, Mishima Dojo, and the Castlevania version of Dracula's Castle are featured as stages.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up![edit]
- Game Arts, which had provided development support for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, worked on this game
- Rabbids are featured as playable fighters
Rivals of Aether[edit]
- Shovel Knight is featured as a playable fighter
Fraymakers[edit]
- CommanderVideo is featured as a playable fighter
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl[edit]
- Lifelight singer Abby Trott voices April O'Niel in both games
- Grey Fox voice actor Rob Paulson voices Raphael
- Corrin voice actor Cam Clarke voices Leonardo
Royalty Free-For-All[edit]
- Grant Kirkhope, arranger of the Spiral Mountain theme, was included as a stretch goal on the game's Kickstarter.
