Which song?[edit]

Does anyone know which song plays when the Ancient Minister is revealed to be R.O.B.? IceBite (talk) 02:12, 20 May 2012 (EDT)

Battlefield theme I assume. LightningBlue: Cinco de Smash 02:14, 20 May 2012 (EDT)
Thanks, that's what I was looking for! And, wow! What great response time! Thanks a lot! :) IceBite (talk) 02:17, 20 May 2012 (EDT)
You're welcome. LightningBlue: Cinco de Smash 02:20, 20 May 2012 (EDT)

What this page should be[edit]

Currently, this page is kind of basically a conglomeration of all its subpages. As a result it's over 150kB long - the largest non-spam page I remember seeing on a wiki - and is almost twice the size of our next biggest page. Personally, I suggest we remove the "Description" and "usage" columns from this page and leave it as just a list of the tracks and maybe their composers; that way the page still has some use (you can have the whole list at once if you want, like the sticker lists), but for more in-depth stuff you can go to a subpage. I think the best option is to turn this article into something similar to List of SSBB trophies, except keeping the intro as it is. Mr. AnonAnon.pngtalk 15:07, 21 October 2012 (EDT)

I concur with Anon's idea. --RoyboyX Talk 11:05, 24 November 2012 (EST)

This is one reason why Toast made separate section pages for this... Dots The Thanksgiving NintenNESsprite.png 11:07, 24 November 2012 (EST)

Indeed, with how this page's details are spread across multiple pages, there's little need for this to remain in its current state. The fact that this article was featured in its former state isn't overly important, and consistency with Music (SSB) doesn't matter either, as I have plans to rewrite that fairly soon. I would have done it yesterday if we weren't moving to a new server. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatumTransparent Swadloon.png 11:15, 24 November 2012 (EST)

Mr. Anon's idea sounds sufficient enough for this page.--Starman125 (talk) 11:32, 24 November 2012 (EST)

Honestly, I have no problem with this. Take a look at the List of stickers: it's a conglomeration of all its subpages, and it has all the information of every one of its subpages. Besides, it's more convenient to have the YouTube links and stuff in one place. Don't split it just because it's really long. There are some descriptions here that are actually more informative than their counterparts at the subpages. Furthermore, this provides a comprehensive list of unused tracks, which, while also at Beta elements, would more likely be searched for here than at Beta elements by a user. Before I made an account, this was one of my favorite pages to look at due to its ease of use and convenience. Air Conditioner AC.png is fast asleep 14:20, 24 November 2012 (EST)

Then what would you say to futher copying the sticker layout, and moving the meat of this page to (complete list)?
Also, if this page has info that the subpages don't, then copy it over. And the list of beta tracks could sensibly stay here no matter what happens. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Breegull 17:05, 24 November 2012 (EST)
So, wait, are you saying we move stuff to List of SSBB music (complete list)? If you are, then I'm all for that idea. Air Conditioner AC.png is a certified whack-job 17:07, 24 November 2012 (EST)
While that is one thing that would cause an inconsistency with Music (SSB) and Music (SSBM), I will admit it sounds a good idea, I forgot about the lack of mention of beta music within my project. One thing you do type, however, is "There are some descriptions here that are actually more informative than their counterparts at the subpages." Please, if you can find an example of this, then update the counterpart article, as that's where the information should be. The only instances I can think of where I have removed information is where a track has appeared in a game after the release of Brawl, which I dubbed unnecessary. Well, perhaps I should have been more specific. What I meant is that some descriptions have information that their counterparts on the subpages are missing and vice versa. Air Conditioner AC.png is a siam cat 20:23, 26 November 2012 (EST)

Bringing this back up. We should move all actual information to the already-existing subpages, and just leave a list on this page. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Honcho 18:19, 9 May 2014 (EDT)

How simplistic are we imagining this list to be? Inside a table, or literally just a list of links? Do we make a separate article for the scrapped music, or just have it on Beta elements (SSBB)? If this is going to become a simple list, I also think we should rename it to List of SSBB music, in line with the sub-articles. Toast Wii U Logo Transparent.pngltimatum 20:16, 28 May 2014 (EDT)
Actually, I just checked: we have a List of stickers (complete list) page, so this page is fine. And as for the rename, no. I understand how you want to fit it with the other Brawl music articles, but we're fitting the name with Music (SSB) and Music (SSBM)
The reason that stickers have a full list page is because it's useful to see for example the biggest Arm sticker of everything. There's no comparable thing to do with the full list of music. Toomai Glittershine ??? The Golden 16:49, 7 August 2014 (EDT)
It will be more fitting for the descriptions for the songs to be in a page specific to their respective series. I can get behind this. Berrenta (talk) 17:06, 7 August 2014 (EDT)
