Dr. Mario > Mario?[edit]

Is Dr. Mario better than Mario just because his Megavitamins are stronger? If that's the only reason, then Mario should still be ranked higher than Dr. Mario, like it was in the past. Mario is faster, his attacks are faster, and his recovery is way better. This is why Fox is better than Falco, so shouldn't the same follow for these two? - GalaxiaD 03:54, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

I think Dr. Mario is heavier than mario, and his moves are stronger. Im not to sure about this though.Kingosuper 03:57, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Useless discusion, we will never decide the Tier List, because "we aren't professionals at Smash". Crap. Don't worry, none character is better than other, the characters that are coinsidered "top tier" is because they can over-abuse the glitches of the game, like wavedash...--Jigglypuff is God 04:00, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

Actually it's quite naive and idealistic to believe that all the characters are of equal competitive playable strength. Dr. Mario's position on the tier list reflects improvements to the competitive viability of things like KO potential. His forward-air is a comboable and effective knockout move whereas you rarely see it applied with Mario as a spike due to the long windup time and subsequent ease to meteor-cancel on the part of the opponent. That in combination with the practical uses of pills over fireballs is enough to justify two spaces on the tier list, I would say.

But don't be fooled. Mario's still the man. :^) --Randall00 06:01, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

There isn't a "better" character. One is slower and stronger, the other is faster and weaker. It depends on individual players and strategies. FyreNWater - (TalkContributions ) 06:04, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

I personally think that Doc is better because he's stronger. My friend also thinks he's better too. Doc King

P.S. That's why I got my name!

3-D[edit]

Isn't it also his only? Isn't Dr. Mario WiiWare 2-D? --RoyboyXRoyHeadSSBM.png Talk 21:00, 20 October 2011 (EDT)

No his puzzle games were are always in 2-D prior to melee --SlitherxSig.png (TC ) 21:15, 20 October 2011 (EDT)"Go ahead cause a problem, you won't like the result." -- Qu&Wow by Slitherx

You misunderstood Roy's question. Is Melee Dr. Mario's only 3-d appearance? He didn't appear in many games after melee, and according to Roy, all of those games were 2-d. Mr. AnonMatchupUnknown.pngtalk 22:26, 20 October 2011 (EDT)

Dr. Mario's Sex kick???[edit]

Hello, I was looking recently at the trivia section of Dr. Mario and I saw that he have a "sex kick", is that normal or it's just for kidding? --Metalex123 (talk) 18:28, 9 December 2013 (EST)

Differences from Mario[edit]

Should we format this like we do for the differences between games changelogs (separated by attack type?) 72.15.80.185 15:29, 7 April 2015 (EDT)

Oh, never mind. I hadn't seen it. I guess I was looking at an older revision. 72.15.80.185 15:32, 7 April 2015 (EDT)
