TNT (TNT火薬, TNT Gunpowder) is Steve's down special move in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
Description
Steve places a block of TNT in front of him or right below him if performed in the air. TNT uses up dirt and stone when placed. A trail of redstone ending with a pressure plate can be placed (or only the pressure plate without any redstone) to automatically detonate the TNT when the plate is stepped on. The TNT detonates when hit enough times, when hit with a fire move, or when activated using the pressure plate. When the opponent is at a high percent, the TNT explosion triggers a special zoom.
TNT is also seen in House of Boom, where it is ignited through Creeper explosions, destroying the structure and damaging the opponent.
Origin
TNT is a block that can be crafted using gunpowder and sand. When activated, it ignites for a few seconds before exploding, creating a crater. TNT can be detonated using a flint and steel, any redstone device, and other nearby explosions.
Due to the absence of gunpowder in Ultimate, other common materials are used as an ingredient instead, like dirt and stone.
