Controversy and Ban[edit]

On April 18th, 2024, a player known as Kyrein posted screenshots and a video alleging that in 2022, Woodzy’s Nintendo Switch profile name contained racial slurs. [1] Around the same time, additional instances of Woodzy exhibiting toxic behavior online began circulating within the community. These incidents collectively became referred to as the “King of Evil” meme, a nickname derived from Woodzy’s profile picture at the time, which depicted Ganondorf. Woodzy later denied the allegations, changed his alias to “Ryzakyn,” and relocated to New York. Despite this, Woodzy remains indefinitely banned from events in the New England region.
