From SmashWiki, the Super Smash Bros. wiki
RFang is a Smasher from South Carolina. He was initially a Mario player in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U before switching to Bayonetta, and was considered one of the best players from his state. He was best known for placing 13th at MomoCon 2017, where he also defeated NAKAT and ScAtt along the way. In addition, he has defeated several other PGR-ranked players, including K9sbruce at DreamHack Atlanta 2017 and Mr. E at DreamHack Atlanta 2018. Though never ranked on the PGR himself, he was ranked 104th on the alternative ranking OrionRank 2017.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, RFang was a Pichu player. Though he had good performances prior, including wins over Mr.R and Elegant at Smash 'N' Splash 5, he was best known for his performances in the second half of 2019, which included placing 7th at The Big House 9, defeating moxi, Light, and WaDi along the way. Alongside other strong results during this time, he was eventually ranked 45th on the Fall 2019 PGRU; as such, he was considered one of the best Pichu players in the early metagame and following Pichu's nerfs during patch 3.1.0. He eventually stopped competing to focus on his personal life, though has expressed interested in returning to competitive play.

- RFang became particularly infamous for being considered a "meme pick" after being voted into Smash Ultimate Summit 2, which resulted in the nickname "Roach Fang" from Leffen due to RFang's friend eating a roach. However, following RFang's performance at The Big House 9, Leffen declared that RFang was no longer a "meme pick".[1]
- RFang's dedication to physical fitness and knowledge of engineering has been held in high standard by numerous people within the Smash community.
