The following is a list of unlockables a player can obtain in Super Smash Bros.
Unlockable characters[edit]
After meeting the encounter requirement, the character must be defeated in a 1-stock match to be unlocked.
| Character | How to encounter |
|---|---|
| Captain Falcon | Complete 1P Game in 20 minutes or less. This takes priority over unlocking Jigglypuff and Ness. |
| Jigglypuff | Complete 1P Game with any character. |
| Luigi | Complete Bonus 1: Break the Targets with all 8 starter characters. Both P1 Game and Bonus 1 Practice are valid, but the latter must be played after completing all 8 for the ecounter to trigger. |
| Ness | Complete 1P Game on Normal difficulty or higher with 3 lives or less and no continues. This takes priority over unlocking Jigglypuff. |
Unlockable stage[edit]
