The Sun Rise Tournament, also referred to as SRT, was Japan's first international Super Smash Bros. Brawl tournament and an Apex 2013 qualifier. It was held from August 10 to August 12, 2012. Held in East Japan, it attracted competition from the rest of Japan and even Germany and the United States. SRT was originally scheduled to be held on April 2-3, 2011, but was later cancelled because of the March 2011 earthquake.
