Mikeneko (みけねこ) is a Super Smash Bros. Brawl Marth player from Kantō, Japan. At his peak in the early- to mid- 2010s, he was considered one of the best Japanese Brawl players, as well as the best Marth player in the world. He was known for a series of strong performances at Sumabura Ranking Battle in Tokyo events, coming close to winning Sumabura Ranking Battle in Tokyo 1-4, before being recognized globally for finishing 7th at Sun Rise Tournament, the largest tournament in Japan at that time. Mikeneko is best known for his performance at Apex 2013, where he defeated Ally and ZeRo, two of the best players in North America at that time, to finish 5th, a performance considered to be one of Marth's best in Brawl. As such, he was ranked on the inaugural SSBBRank, which ranked players on their performances in 2013 and the first half of 2014. He retired in the final year of Brawl.
