SWT: South America Ultimate Regional Finals will be the first Super Smash Bros. Ultimate final for Phase Two of the Smash World Tour 2021. Due to the current situation of South America, the tournament will be held online. The sixteen players who qualified through the SWT: South America Ultimate Online Qualifier will be invited to this tournament. The winner will qualify for the Smash World Tour 2021 Finale.

A Melee event was also planned, but it was ultimately cancelled due to the aforementioned situation. Instead, Chape and HP were chosen as the South American Melee finalists.

Pre-recorded VODs controversy

As VGBootCamp was streaming the tournament, a Twitter account leaked an image that showed all the tournament sets pre-recorded on Shared Content.. Minutes later, Smasher Belipe accused VGBootCamp for holding the tournament a day prior but broadcasting it the next day, using this image as proof. Following the posts, an image of the entire bracket was also leaked.
