Karisuma 7 also featured a single-elimination 3on3 Team Battle side event, which was made humorous by the runner-up Kamemushi team all selecting the same character each round, including Captain Falcon in the quarterfinal, Cloud in the semifinal, and Random in the final (which yielded Roy, Wii Fit Trainer, and Pac-Man).
