First appearance

Toon Link's first appearance was in Four Swords, the multiplayer mode for A Link To The Past, not The Windwaker- 69.121.179.87 17:39, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

Yes 4 Swords link is an entirely different person. Kperfekt722 (talk) 02:33, 22 June 2008 (UTC)

What do we define as "Toon Link"? One could argue his first appearance was the Legend of Zelda, as that Link is quite short and cartoony looking. In my opinion, only Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks should count, as Brawl's Toon Link is clearly based on those incarnations. Grim Tuesday (talk) 10:31, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

Well, there are multiple Links and the Link we know as "Toon Link" first appeared in Wind Waker, hence why his trophy lists that his first appearance was in Wind Waker. Omega Tyrant TyranitarMS.png 10:41, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
Based on a quick count, there are 10 Links. Since Toon Link has the Wind Waker in a taunt, he's the one that appears in The Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. Toomai Glittershine Toomai.png The Stats Guy 11:52, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

I've tried to bring to light twice the fact that Toon Link and the other Links are not the same character- just ask any LoZ fan or consult the official timeline. These edits have been reverted, making me confused. This is obviously the Toon Link from Wind Waker (not Spirit Tracks, as that Link never uses a baton). Of course, I could be making a silly mistake, but could someone please tell me why "Toon Link is one of Link's multiple incarnations?" Andymii (talk) 17:09, 23 May 2015 (EDT)
