:I get that it's significantly similar, but I wouldn't say it's the same as splitting the same move into two. If the two moves have different knockback, which I actually don't know if they do for myself, it'd make sense to split them. I'd say the fire and the hilt mechanic are almost enough to differentiate the two but differing knockback would seal the deal. I'll retract my oppose due to my ignorance of that. Merge

Support per tag. Nyargleblargle.pngNyargleblargle (Contribs) 08:06, 11 April 2016 (EDT)

Support same as with Upperdash/Electroshock Arm. WolfBloodSpam (talk) 08:29, 11 April 2016 (EDT)

Support. Only difference is fire effects and damage. b2jammer (talk) 11:26, 11 April 2016 (EDT)

Strong oppose. Didn't jump in on the Electroshock page, but imo it'd be better to leave special move pages separate if they a) have a different English name and b) belong to a different character. That just makes more sense to me as where to draw the line. Miles (talk) 11:45, 11 April 2016 (EDT)

Oppose. Per Miles. It's still a different move. I'm actually opposed to Fox's and Falco's Blasters sharing a page, so I have a problem with this suggestion. John This is for my signature, which I was told needed to be edited. PK SMAAAASH!! 11:59, 11 April 2016 (EDT)

Oppose per Miles. Honestly I felt that Electroshock Arm shouldn't have been merged with Upperdash Arm either, but whatevs. Disaster Flare My signature image for the default signature. Duplicate of Lucina's life white stock head. (talk) 12:01, 11 April 2016 (EDT)
The two are pretty much different moves. Different knockback, as well as effects. It'd be like merging Fox Illusion and Falco Phantasm together. AidanzapunkSig1.pngAidan, the Wandering Dragon WarriorAidanzapunkSig2.png 12:10, 11 April 2016 (EDT)
We ought to split them then, right? Honestly, I think we can afford to split Palutena's Bow and Silver Bow too. John This is for my signature, which I was told needed to be edited. PK SMAAAASH!! 12:27, 11 April 2016 (EDT)
Uh, what's the point of this? I don't get it. The tag lacks sound logic. Oppose. MuteSpittah (talk) 13:03, 11 April 2016 (EDT)

The moves are virtually the same. Heck, the description of the move on this page is extremely short, simply saying it's like Dancing Blade but with fire effects, and most of the writing probably belongs on a hypothetical moveset subpage. It's almost like splitting Rest into Melee and Brawl/Sm4sh pages. The only difference is that the moves have different English (not even Japanese) names in this case.
