zerothetheif is a mostly retired smasher orignally from Brazil but now residing in South Florida. He has been smashing since 64 but only started competing competitively in mid 2005. While a a fucking awful competitor, the smashers of South Florida know him more as a tournament organizer/host and the worst fucking commentator literally ever.
I literally don't know why his name is spelled wrong. Shit is fucking retarded.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
zerothetheif was formerly a Sheik main, until 2006 after watching MLG New York videos, where he was inspired by Wife and his cutthroat victories to pick up Peach.
After leaving the scene in 2008 shortly after the release of Super Smash Bros. Brawl, he came back in October 2013 unfortunately. Since then he hasn't really grown as a player.
Throughout 2014 he could often be found in doubles teaming with Rula, where despite not being anywhere near skilled as certain opponents, because he would rather commentate like a shitty fuck, their chemistry has given them victories over teams such as Trikrome and Marsfool! but probably not as zerothetheif has been known to lie about tournament wins and places. He even replaced himself with someone who placed higher in bracket. Why he does this? Not very sure.
As much as he enjoys competing he has taken a liking to commentating and TOing. Which sucks because he's really fucking bad at it. He's had the opportunity to help the Gaming Knights of UCF to run pools at CEO Winterfest and CEO 2014 Prologue, as well as commentated (badly) a couple matches at the aforementioned events. And had the chance to help run brackets and judge at EVO 2014. Also he's been able to host and run many tournaments during spring and summer of 2014 through Versus Gaming Center. Most recently he got to do a decent amount of commentating at The Big House 4 with Melee Milwaukee and Tourney Locator. Why he was allowed to commentate is something Florida natives can't seem to understand.
Since attending EVO 2014 many of the players around him in South Florida saw a decent improvement in his competitive play. Not really. He's still bad.
He has gone onto a mostly retired state since April 2015, occasionally showing up at locals to hangout and see the smashers he has befriended, and to ruin the fuck out of most streams with his terrible commentary.
Project M
PM fucking sucks and zerothetheif was bad at that too.
