t1mmy is best known as one of the most knowledgeable, active Kirby players in the Smash community as well as a long-time moderator of the AllisBrawl site. His identical twin brother t0mmy is well-known for his R.O.B. and Pichu. Together, they make up the Super Smash Twins.

The two twins have been the driving force in building up the Oregon Smash scene and continue to be the main contributors toward the competitive scene from Melee through Brawl. They primarily play in the West Coast meeting up with smashers from Canada down to California.

Community Contributions

Smashboards & AllisBrawl

On Smashboards, t1mmy compiled and published The Competitive Kirby - a guide for playing Kirby in Melee. This was one of his earliest direct contributions to the SWF community. His next publication Kirby & The Amazing Guide was a guide written for playing Kirby in Brawl published both on AllisBrawl and Smashboards.

When allisbrawl.com launched, t1mmy was appointed Moderator by Nealdt. Along with usual Moderator duties, t1mmy is also a Tournament Admin and helps verify and process official AiB tournament results. He is also the primary moderator of the Kirby boards.

Tournament Organizer History

With help from his brother, t1mmy has been running tournaments in Oregon since about 2005 with Melee. Size of tournaments range from weekly local sized events to larger Regionals. The largest state tournaments to date include SF:E 2007 and the Oregon Mega Games (OMG).

t1mmy and t0mmy are currently running and participating in weekly tournaments in Oregon's premiere gaming lounge: Shoryuken League. Larger events are held throughout the year.

Competitive History

t1mmy started playing Smash with the original release of Super Smash Bros. on the N64. His choice of character - Kirby - was based on the fact that he had recently played Kirby Super Star for the SNES and held it in high acclaim. It wasn't until Super Smash Bros. Melee when t1mmy started traveling to out of state events, starting with MLG: Anaheim 2006. Since then t1mmy has traveled to many different states including Arizona, California, Florida, Idaho, Indiana, Ohio, Texas and more to play in Smash Bros. competitions.

Notable accomplishments include 2nd place at the E4All Play n' Trade Melee Tournament (October 18-21, 2007). The brackets included some of the finest Melee players of the time and region including Isai, King, and Zelgadis (Mango was also in attendance, but this was right before he broke into the scene as a top player). Making his way through the brackets with a bottom-tier character, t1mmy made it to Grand Finals against DSF using Kirby proving hard work and determination is the only way to become a top player.

During the official Nintendo "Brawl Pre-Release" event held Feb. 23, 2008 in San Fransisco, t1mmy competed in a 250-man bracket and made it into the top 8 finishers with Kirby.

Since Brawl's release, t1mmy has traveled across the country with his twin attending Smash tournaments. He is considered one of the top smashers in the North West and 'mains' all three Dreamland character, though he is best known for his Kirby.
