Komota is an Ultimate Kirby and Isabelle player from Dayton, Ohio. He was considered to be a top Kirby player before his inactivity. Komota was formerly ranked as high as 10th on the Ohio Smash Ultimate Power Rankings. He has taken sets off players such as Gomakenpi, Xane, Jumpsteady, Cob, Katakiri, GoMan, and Carls493.
In SSB4, Komota is also a Kirby main, and is considered one of the best Kirby mains in the United States.
