K9sbruce (almost always referred to as K9) is a smasher from Arizona currently residing in Los Angeles, California who plays Meta Knight and Falco in Brawl, Meta Knight in Project M, and Sheik in Smash 4, and is SS's brother. He is currently ranked 4th on the SoCal Smash 4 Power Rankings and is considered to be one of the best Sheik players in the world.

Trivia
- K9sbruce is infamous for his frequent outbursts whenever he loses (or wins) a match or the entire set. (Notable examples can be seen here). However, he has since improved his behavior around his losses, and his outbursts have become noticeably less frequent.
- One of his most famous moments has been turned into a gif and has become a recurring representation of salt in the community.
- K9sbruce's goal is to become "the King of Smash" in both Smash 4 and Melee.
- He was inspired by Luffy of the manga/anime One Piece, who wants to become the King of Pirates.
