Adding more links

I've been thinking about supplementing the link to the cleanup category with multiple links to various areas. Something like:

Articles requiring improvement				Articles requiring staff attention			Off-wiki content

Yeah, these things used to exist back when we were on Wikia... A couple of other things that may be useful are a link to stub articles, and maybe some links to certain logs and Special pages if people would find them useful. DoctorPain99 _{ROLLBACKER} 01:00, 5 January 2012 (EST)

Manual wanted page?

It seems to me that the "most wanted page" link has drastically decreased in value as a result of most SSB4-related pages existing at this point, and the vast majority of the top wanted pages by number of links being moveset detail pages requiring heavy technical and competitive knowledge. Would it be more useful to people to have a manually selected wanted page by myself and/or the other admins in place of the auto-generated ones? Miles (talk) 18:41, 6 March 2015 (EST)

Hmm yeah, it's a bit unwieldy as-is for the average user; as it currently sits, the first non-moveset page is in 13th position, so not even an automatic "top 5" is reasonable. Maybe there's a hidden way to only show the top page of a given namespace (which we'd set to the Smasher: namespace). I'll see if I can find anything. Failing that, we can do two things:

1. Add stubs for the moveset subpages to make them go away. They're all grabs and edge attacks and other such moves of low importance; I would personally prefer having stubs than redlinks for them.
2. Have a manual "top 5 wanted pages" (maybe top 10), update it whenever necessary. Doing it manually bugs me a little but at least then we don't have the random tiebreaking. Toomai Glittershine The Spark 19:24, 6 March 2015 (EST)

Rather than make a bunch of quasi-permanent stubs, I'd rather have a set of manual ones updated as needed. It wouldn't be particularly tough to target specific Smasher or mainspace articles needed as new ones get made. Miles (talk) 20:00, 6 March 2015 (EST)

I think targeting a certain page would be a good idea. Honestly, we don't absolutely need a page with hitbox data on a certain move. Yes, we're an encyclopedia, but there are some things people don't really want to read in an encyclopedia. That's just my opinion. And trust me, I know what a lot of people want.
