Link swings the Master Sword above his head in a wide arc. A standard anti-air and combo option with average speed and knockback. Will combo into most of Link's aerials against fastfallers, and at least into {{mvsub|Link|SSBM|up aerial}} against midfallers. It is not as effective at anti-airing opponents directly about Link as {{mvsub|Link|SSBM|up smash}}, but does not have the same issue of the latter parts of the attack whiffing, and it hits grounded opponents.

Overview[edit]

Link swings the Master Sword above his head in a wide arc. A standard anti-air and combo option with average speed and knockback. Will combo into most of Link's aerials against fastfallers, and at least into up aerial against midfallers. It is not as effective at anti-airing opponents directly about Link as up smash, but does not have the same issue of the latter parts of the attack whiffing, and it hits grounded opponents.
