Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome, editors and users, to the Smash Arena! Each week this forum hosts a tussle between two characters from the Super Smash Bros. series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll, really, but more of a popularity contest to see who is the better fighter. So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.

The Rules, Briefly

Functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that week. No, you don't have to vote for the character with strength & power, just vote if you are a total fanboy of the character. You may vote only once. Once you voted, your decision is final and you cannot change your vote. If you are a user, please include your vote in the user section. If you are not a user, please include your vote in the anonymous section. It is important to do this because user votes will be 1 pts and anonymous votes will only have 1/2 a pt. Votes put in the wrong section will be deleted. Users who do not log in when they vote will be considered anonymous IPs, and their votes also will be deleted. When a new fight is created (which is every Friday), the previous fight's votes will be totaled and its winner decided. The fighter with the most votes WINS!!

  3. Hammer Bros. fight in pairs, and not only that, but there are other "Bros." in this species, such as the Boomerang Bros. and Fire Bros. There are strength in numbers, and although there's two Ice Climbers, there are three types of Hammer Bros.   7. They made me angry in the original Mario Bros. This gives me respect for them. On the other hand, I've never met anyone who can use the IC's well enough to beat me. You can't play as Hammer Bros. in any game (apart from spin-offs and fangames) but Ice Climbers are playable in every game they've been in (though I can only think of 3 games they've been in: Ice Climber, Melee, and Brawl). I think we should stop the suggestions in general. There are only going to be pointless arguments, and that gives Solar Flute more ways to fight with me using her opinions. I don't mean to rule her out like that, but it's been happening alot. Many users, including Ike's Best Buddy (dang, I did it again) think it's alright to SAY WHAT THEY WANT TO SAY IN BOLDED, CAPITALIZED, AND ITALICIZED TEXT LIKE THIS, so the Suggestion forum should be deleted. Lemme tell you what is done on Zeldapedia. There is a limit on the number of fights that can even be suggested per week. All the rules that we have here in the SA are implemented there, too, but this helps the people running the arena (Temple of Courage to you Zeldapedians) because they don't have to deal with an insane amout of suggestions. Also, a character can't be suggested two weeks in a row, even in conjunction with another character. It just makes things run a LOT smoother. Just something to think about...
