Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome, editors and users, to the Smash Arena! Each week this forum hosts a tussle between two characters from the Super Smash Bros. series! The winner gets, well, nothing. It's more of a poll but functionally, this is a popularity contest. You may vote for your favorite or who you think would win in an competition between the two combatants that round. No, you don't have to vote for the character with strength & power, just vote if you are a total fanboy of the character. So what are you waiting for? Get voting! Remember, you can remain anonymous! If you have any requests for future fights, please feel free to leave a message here.

The Rules, Briefly

1. You can only vote once.
2. Vote under the name of the fighter you are voting for.
3. When voting, you can give a brief comment on why you voted for that fighter, or you can just leave your signature.
4. ALWAYS put # when you vote so it can help us count the votes!!
5. ALWAYS put in your signature with ~~~~. This is required for both signed on users and anon users.
6. Any comments about the fight should be left in the comments sections.
7. DON'T LEAVE A SPACE BETWEEN YOUR POST AND THE POSTS ABOVE AND BELOW YOURS!
   

Any user who does not adhere to these rules will have their vote deleted.

Round 42: Link vs. Snake

These two heroes have enough weaponry to arm dozens of troops. Good thing hammerspace exists, otherwise neither of these one-man armies could take a step. (Well, they may be one-man armies, but they're not just one man themselves - they've each had a couple of alternate selves.) You could call them jacks-of-all-trades, you could call them crazed collectors, or you could just stand back and let them have it out.

Link on the other hand has saved the world in multiple eras and timelines, has the Triforce and could absolutely obliferate Snake using Triforce Slash. Although his grenades take longer to detonate, they can be thrown farther than Link's Bombs. Boomerangs aren't as versatile as missiles, and his Spin Attack his not going to compare to Snake's bomb jump. Snake also has advantages in his tilts in that they come out faster than Link's can. Bottom line is Snake is going to horribly murder Link. (No insult intended to sword-wielding guy in green costume or supporters of said person).
